This page gives you a brief overview for some of Good Year tires most popular choices.

Good Year Tires is a company which was founded by Frank A. Seiberling way back in 1898 in the small town of East Akron, Ohio. Just 18 years after it was founded it was the world’s largest tire company. Today the company does over $20 billion a year with their sights set on the future and innovation. They make tires for all vehicles ranging from cars, vans, trucks, and suv’s under just about any road condition.

In late 2009, Good Year tires came out with a tire which actually increases fuel economy; breaking a World Record by almost 10 mpg! With the 4% increase in miles per gallon from the previous record holding tire, they calculated that on average, you’d save approximately 2,600 miles worth of gas over the lifetime of a set of a new pair of these tires. They’re conveniently an all around tire which also come in about 27 different sizes and an impressive 65,000 mile limited warranty!

Good Year tires recently came out with a tire called the Wrangler MT/R, the biggest thing that makes this tire special and stand out from the rest is it’s built with DuPont Kevlar. Having a tire with DuPont Kevlar really helps to decrease the chance the sidewalls are going to be punctured by an impressive 35%, which makes them great 4×4 off road tires. Not only do these tires make for great off road tires, but perform just as well on wet surfaces.

Under the Wrangler name they also have what they call the DuraTrac. This is also a great tire for dirt, gravel, mud, and winter driving conditions. One great feature this tire has which sets it apart from the rest is a rim protector which helps keep the rims protected when you accidentally go over a sharp curb.

The great thing about Good Year tires is the wide range tires they have available and their ability to be extremely competitive in each class. One of their other big sellers they have right now is called the Assurance® ComforTred® Touring. It’s exactly what it sounds like, it targets a smooth and comfortable ride with superb handling as well. What makes these tires so much more of a comfortable ride than other standard passenger tires is a special comfort layer which actually provides an impressive 20% more cushioning. They also come with an impressive 70,000 to 80,000 mile tread life warranty and still are able to provide extremely impressive marks in areas like snow, wet, and dry traction.

As you can see Good Year tires are an amazing product and make it incredibly easy to find the tire which is a perfect fit for you. So don’t risk your safety by saving a few bucks on some cheap brand, go with a brand that America trusts.

This page gives you a brief overview of all Pro Comp Tires currently avaliable.

Pro Comp tires are great performance tires and they add a great and aggressive look to your vehicle, so you can’t go wrong. They actually specialize in off road tires and over the years have earned a great reputation in that market. The company began just a short time ago, 1998, and after receiving such great reviews on their Mud Terrain tires, they began to manufacture many others. Currently they make 5 different types of tires which are All Terrain, Mud Terrain, Xterrain, Xtreme All Terrain, and Xtreme Mud Terrain.

The tire that started it all for Pro Comp tires, the Mud Terrain, has a more aggressive tread which has wider gaps for easier self cleaning and better grip on mud and rocks. Probably the best thing about this tire that separates it from the competition is the pre-drilled holes for studs to increase traction on the snow and ice. This is one of the best mud tires you can buy. These tires range anywhere from about 30 to 37 inches in diameter.

The Xtreme Mud Terrain Radial is one of the most widely used mud terrain tires in the industry. They’re very puncture resistant, and have extremely thick sidewalls to resist cuts and tears. If you’re looking for a tire that will last on the street and make less road noise than most mud tires, this is the one you want. However, with its deep tread, this tire is designed to perform in the mud, sand, and snow. These range in diameter from about 30 to 37 inches.

Pro Comp Tires Xterrain tire is a larger more aggressive all terrain tire, starting at about 30 inches and going all the way up to about 40 inches. For the tire, tread, and use of the tire, it is surprisingly quiet on the highway compared to other tires in its class. Since this tire has a directional tread they used a computer system to help determine the wind movement through the tire to make it quieter on the pavement. This tire also performs very well in the mud, gravel, slush, and snow.

If you’re one who’s looking for more of an all around tire, the Radial All Terrain is what you’re looking for. The best thing about this tire is, bought new, it comes with a 50,000 mile tread warranty. This, in itself, is a bold statement about this particular tire. This is the all around smallest diameter tire Pro Comp Tires makes, ranging from about 28 inches up to about 35. It has great traction in all weather conditions especially exceeding in snow traction.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Xtreme All Terrain Radial. Using new technology, this tire is designed to be able to spend and equal amount of time on the city streets as it is in the mud and dirt. That being said, they still somehow managed to equip it with a 40,000 mile tread warranty. So if you’re looking for a tire that does it all, and has a very aggressive look, this is the best Pro Comp Tires offers.
